A new report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says its effects are “severe, pervasive and irreversible,” despite the clamoring of people who continue to say “What happened to global warming?” on every single cold day. “Nobody on this planet is going to be untouched by the impacts of climate change,” said the group’s chairman. John Kerry added, “Unless we act dramatically and quickly, science tells us our climate and our way of life are literally in jeopardy. Denial of the science is malpractice … The costs of inaction are catastrophic.”
