Like everything else involving the missing jet, what we thought we knew has turned out to be wrong. Instead of the previously announced sign-off “All right, good night,” the last words spoken to air traffic control were actually, “Good night, Malaysian three-seven-zero,” which may be meaningless but probably should not have taken 24 days to figure out.
