Bill O’Reilly to Kentucky Basketball Coach John Calipari: How Do You Get Black Kids to Listen to You?

Wildcats head coach John Calipari, who’s been known to pal around with Jay Z and Drake, appeared on The O’Reilly Factor last night, setting off Bill’s long-running beef with what he calls “hip-hop stuff.” O’Reilly had a lot of questions for Calipari, but they all really boiled down to the same one: “I don’t know if you listen to this rap stuff and hip-hop stuff,” the host began, “Has that changed their attitude?” And so on:

Do they use four-letter words towards you?”

So you impose strict discipline on them?”

So you evaluate their character before you give them scholarships?”

How do you keep them away from temptation with the hustlers everywhere?” (“Who?” responded Callipari.)

There’s drugs everywhere … They’re giving the kids drugs for free. How do you keep them away from that?”

Do you have guys on them all the time? Curfews? … Do you drug test?”

Calipari, to his credit, was having none of the subtext. You mad, Bill. You maaaad.
