Up is down and black is white over at Fox News. Just one day after Bret Baier and Greta Van Susteren decided to go easy on Hillary Clinton, infuriating viewers, on Wednesday night Megyn Kelly confronted Dick Cheney about the hypocrisy in his Wall Street Journal op-ed on Obama’s handling of Iraq. (Co-author Liz Cheney was there too, mainly to say the looney things her father wouldn’t.) Kelly kicked off the interview by asking him to respond to those who say he’s responsible for dragging the U.S. into Iraq in the first place. “Well obviously I disagree,” he responded. “I think we went into Iraq for very good reasons. I think when we left office we had a situation in Iraq that was very positive.”
Kelly pressed on, referencing the Cheneys’ Obama insult: “Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many.” “Time and time again, history has proven that you got it wrong in Iraq, sir,” Kelly said, adding, “What do you say to those who say you were so wrong about so much at the expense of so many?” “No, I just fundamentally disagree, Reagan … Megyn,” Cheney answered. He’s been sending Republicans subliminal messages this whole time!
