Ron Klain will be appointed Ebola Czar, according to the AFP. Klain, who previously served as Al Gore’s chief of staff, will be responsible for managing the bureaucratic aspects of the Ebola response, including coordinating efforts between “the Department of Health and Human Services, the Pentagon, the State Department, the National Security Council, the World Bank, the World Health Organization, President Obama’s office, private stakeholders, and many, many more.”
