A man in trouble for pointing a banana at cops caught a break Tuesday, when a Colorado district attorney decided that the “felony stupid” prank wasn’t worth a felony charge. Nathan Channing will instead be charged with obstructing a police officer, a misdemeanor, even though cops say they initially mistook the bright yellow fruit for a real weapon. In an affidavit, one of the officers insisted that guns come in many shapes and colors.
