The sinkholes have migrated up from Florida and are coming for your $2,000 per month studio. According to DNAinfo, a massive sinkhole opened up in Washington Heights on Monday morning, shutting down street traffic and partially swallowing a Department of Sanitation Truck.
Authorities don’t know what exactly caused the sinkhole to randomly open up, but we assume it has something to do with a hungry subterranean hellbeast wanted to eat garbage for brunch.
“They pulled a garbage truck out,” Earl Green, a nearby worker, told DNAinfo. “That’s crazy.”
Crazy indeed, Earl. Crazy indeed.
