If Berkshire Hathaway CEO and rich-as-hell investor Warren Buffett were to write a Grub Street Diet, it would look something like this: In the morning, he drinks a can of Coca-Cola. In the afternoon, he drinks two. In the evening, he drinks another, and then two more cans, but maybe this time they’re Cherry Coke. In fact, “I’m one quarter Coca-Cola,” he recently told Fortune. (It’s no surprise that Buffett is a Coke shareholder.)
Instead of hopping on the health bandwagon, the 84-year-old bajillionaire has decided to revert back to the diet he preferred as a kid, eating chocolate-chip ice cream for breakfast and guzzling five Cokes a day. He also enjoys Utz Potato Stix so much he considered just straight up buying the entire Pennsylvania company.
“I checked the actuarial tables, and the lowest death rate is among six-year-olds. So I decided to eat like a six-year-old,” he told Fortune. “It’s the safest course I can take.”
Maybe Mr. Buffett can share some diet tips with Bobby Jindal.
