Your Favorite New York Welcome Ambassador Taylor Swift Donated $50K to NYC Public Schools

Tumblr teen Taylor Swift has made good on her promise to donate the proceeds from her song “Welcome to New York” to New York City public schools. An NYC Department of Education official confirmed to Capital New York that she has already made at least one donation totaling $50,000. Flower crowns and Karlie’s Kookies for all!
