A new poll conducted by the Benenson Strategy Group and SKDKnickerbocker shows that 72 percent of registered voters are “absolutely certain” that they will vote in the 2016 election. They have yet to remember the endless campaign ads and crushing hatred that comes with learning that another presidential debate has canceled an episode of your favorite crime procedural that stopped them from casting a ballot in 2012. Less than 59 percent of eligible voters took part in the 2012 presidential election. Only 2 percent of the 1,032 respondents in this poll admitted that they were unlikely to vote.
