After mingling with her new neighbors on Thursday, Hillary Clinton continued her awkward war on unrestricted campaign spending. The Washington Post reports that during a meeting in Brooklyn with more than 200 of her top fund-raisers, Clinton vowed that, if elected president, she would not nominate judges who believe corporations are people to the Supreme Court (days after Senator Bernie Sanders made the same pledge). “She got major applause when she said would not name anybody to the Supreme Court unless she has assurances that they would overturn” the decision, said one of the 200 or so attendees, who each raised at least $27,000 for her campaign. The Clinton team has already stated that it won’t be leading by example in this election, as they can’t afford to “unilaterally disarm” in the super-PAC wars.
