A year after launching her own subscription-based internet TV network, Sarah Palin will stop charging fans to hear her “discuss the great issues of the day and work toward solutions.” Beginning on August 1, the type of content previously hidden behind the paywall at SarahPalinChannel.com will be made available for free on Palin’s Facebook page. Tapp, the online video company that hosts the channel, said it doesn’t reveal subscription numbers, so it’s unclear whether a lack of interest from fans is behind the end of the channel. One possible explanation, though, is a lack of interest from Palin herself.
