Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the internet came this close to being able to watch a sequel to the Great Llama Chase of 2015, which spawned a herd of GIFs and gave a retirement community in Arizona enough stories to last months. However, the Friday procrastination gods decided to reward three particularly unworthy farm animals with freedom. The trio of llamas escaped from a farm in Maryland around 7:20 a.m. this morning. After escaping, they only crossed one road, and showed no resistance when a dog and two officers – only two! — showed up at the scene. The four-legged traitors are now back in captivity, and are hopefully filled with regret for the fact that they failed to entertain millions when they had the chance.
