Authorities in Zimbabwe have named another American doctor and big-game hunter they allege illegally killed a lion near Hwange National Park this past April, reports the Associated Press. Zimbabwe police have already arrested a local landowner, who they say was involved in setting up that kill for a Pittsburgh gynecological oncologist named Jan Casimir Seski, who is another bow-and-arrow big-game hunter and African safari enthusiast. Following the recent illegal killing of the famous Zimbabwean lion Cecil by an American dentist, the country’s wildlife authority has halted all hunting of lions and other big game in the Hwange region. Meanwhile, internet rumors that another famous lion from the same park was killed this past week turned out to be false.
