At 8 p.m. tonight, 11 of the Republican primary candidates will debate about the policy priorities of the party — or more likely, just insult each other — for the second time. The event is hosted by CNN and will be held at the Reagan Library, which means the candidates will likely invoke the great saint of the GOP even more than usual, if such a thing is possible. At 6 p.m., the remaining candidates will take part in an honorable-mention debate, which promises to be even sadder than the last kids’-table forum, as there are only four candidates left now that Carly Fiorina has been promoted to the main stage and Rick Perry dropped out.
Daily Intelligencer plans to offer complete coverage of the evening’s events, so tune in here at 6 p.m. to hear our commentary on the puns, policy proposals, and faux pas — and offer your own thoughts in the comments.
