In an email sent on January 26, 2013 — about six weeks after Hillary Clinton fainted, subsequently suffering a serious concussion and a blood clot in her head — longtime aide Huma Abedin told colleague Monica Hanley that their boss was still a little out of it. “Have you been going over calls with her for tomorrow? So she knows Singh is at 8?” Abedin asked Hanley. When Hanley said she had yet to do so, Abedin replied, “Very [important] to do that. She’s often confused.” In June 2014, Clinton said she had fully recovered from her fall, telling Diane Sawyer that the concussion had left “no lingering effects.”
