At the beginning and end of last night’s presidential debate, moderator Lester Holt mentioned that time limitations would result in some relevant issues going undiscussed. Immigration, campaign finance, and Benghazi are just a few topics some voters wish had come up. But members of the Taliban, who took a break from killing Afghan soldiers to gather in a “secret location” for a viewing party, were disappointed there was no discussion of Afghanistan, a spokesman for the group told NBC News.
“There [was] nothing of interest to us in the debate as both of them said little about Afghanistan and their future plans for the country,” the spokesman said.
He also couldn’t resist taking a shot at Donald Trump, a “nonserious” person who says “anything that comes to his tongue.”
And there’s another offense to add to the list for the Taliban — making us think about Donald Trump’s tongue.
