The news itself may be less notable than the fact that the Times appears to have an anonymous source in the church. [NYT] • Newsday minds the gap — with a scarily comprehensive report on that pesky bit of space between the platform and the train. Turns out it’s a more serious menace than most think, with 900 incidents reported since 1995 on the LIRR alone.
