Bond No. 9

Profile
New York neighborhoods can be categorized by geography, by train route, by look and by sound. Now, they're conveyed by scent (in a positive sense, of course). Bond No. 9, one-time source of Creed perfumes, now exclusively stocks their house line of Manhattan-centric fragrances like Nuits de Noho, Madison Soiree, Wall Street, and Gramercy Park. In notes that complement both men and women, the eaux de parfum are sold in 1.7-oz. and 3.3-oz. star-shaped bottles that make an artistic addition to any vanity. For clients who swing between districtsare you a little bit Park Avenue, with a dash of Nouveau Broadway?Bond No. 9 will mix-and-match neighborhoods to taste, drawing scented drams from the tall flacons in the center of the store and pouring into the colorful suede, leather, or crystal-adorned atomizer of your choice. (True connoisseurs: A personalized scent created by a top nose can be yours for a price.) The large, loft-like space also offers coordinating scented candles, vintage perfume bottles and jewelry, an area suitable for events and the Bond St. location offers a tea bar and a cozy library of fragrance-themed books. Outside, a white, perfume-stocked English cabwith liveried driver, of coursestands by to whisk special clients to and from the store.
ExtraBond's Bon-Bon Box sampler includes 18 foil-wrapped, travel-sized fragrance sprays in a presentation box.
