Ingredients

1/4 oz Sorrel (sorrel recipe below)
1 oz St Germaine
Champagne
Garnish: Candied Sorrel Flower

 

For Sorrel:
5 cups water
1 cup dried sorrel flowers
2 cups sugar
cinnamon stick

Instructions

Mix 1/4 oz. sorrel with 1oz St. Germain, add to Champagne. Garnish with candied sorrel flower.

Sorrel preparation:
Boil water, add sorrel flowers, cinnamon stick and sugar. Reduce heat to a simmer for approximately 45 minutes.Let cool to room temperature and use leftover flowers for garnish

NOTE: to make this recipe easier, substitute the sorrel for cranberry juice
