When you descend from 17th Street into the subterranean Apartment 48, you just might sense that interior designer Rayman Boozer’s shop is the heavily accessorized apartment that you’ve always wanted but were never organized enough to make happen. Walk out of the summer kitchen with the jewel-toned water glasses and Seda France candles and into a bachelor’s bedroom, where you’re likely to find a pair of Vera Bradley’s Baekgaard cufflinks or a John Robshaw dress shirt awaiting you. Tag sales are held twice yearly for a full month (January and July), which allows Boozer to remodel the entire storeï¿½a practice that has kept apartment dwellers regularly stopping by since 1995, when the space first opened. While this store specializes in unique and hard-to-find home accessories, bridal registry and interior design services are also offered. — Christopher Richter
