After spearheading retail ventures for denim brands like American Rag, Antik Batik, Diesel, Dolce & Gabbana, Lucky, and AG Adriano Goldschmied, Frank Pizzurro opened this sprawling jeans shop in 2010 with friends Sam Yocum and Evan Hecht. The denim is the focal point at the rustic Williamsburg shop, with wood floors, white walls, and floor-to-ceiling shelves packed with jeans ranging from faded washes to inky bluish-black. The selection of 20-plus brands includes small West-coast companies like Men Without a Country, designer denim by Rogan and Hudson Jeans, and trusty classics like Levi’s. In addition to the racks of distressed and selvedged jeans, the spot also stocks a selection of vintage workwear from Pendleton and Levi’s. — Emma Barker
