Amid the flashy shop windows that line Madison Avenue, the Charlotte Olympia boutique would be easy to miss if it weren’t for the attention-stealing shoes in the window. Inside, the small space is mostly unadorned�an antique hardwood chest of drawers on which the shoes are displayed takes center stage. Vivid bright colors like coral and magenta, glimmering golds and metallics, and towering platform heels are stable features; the eye-catching styles count Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé among their celebrity fans.
