John Sencion and Brad John conceived of this travel store at 30,000 feet while en route to Paris. The stylish stock isn’t nearly as lofty, focusing instead on designer laptop cases, anti-jet-lag pills, portable neck rests, and disposable iPod chargers. Oft-replaced gear like rain ponchos and luggage tags are stocked on the convenient Essentials Wall, while the tourist guides and language manuals could do worse than finding a place in the high-end luggage from brands like Samsonite and Rimowa. The Shame On You kit�with one-size-fits-all thong, condom, overnight essentials and a blank �goodbye’ note�is a big seller at the Manhattan location; the assorted kids’ activity packs are steady hits at the larger Brooklyn outpost. — Melissa Noble
