Jewelry designers David Rees and Ron Anderson showcase their collection of charm jewelry decked with birthstones, astrological symbols, initials, and lucky trinkets in their second retail space. Unlike the pair's elegant meatpacking flagship, this setup within the Plaza Hotel consists of a small, stand-alone nook, but the newer space is the exclusive outlet for the brand's charm collection. The look is reminiscent of the original line, featuring elegant, dangly jewels clustered in organic shapes atop rustic tree-trunk displays. The clerks behind the counter are quick to quiz shoppers about their favorite charms and whip up customized necklaces incorporating sterling silver, fourteen-karat gold, diamonds, or opals. Chains are available in brown or black leather, sterling silver, oxidized black sterling, and gold. Given the variety of letters, numbers, symbols, and shapes, the possibilities are endlessfrom tiny animals to glittering moons and clovers.
