The sophisticated, feminine style of Noisette is owner Stephanie Deleau's way of bringing a bit of her native Paris to the mean streets of Williamsburg. Flying in new pieces once a month to complement Noisette's eponymous clothing label, Deleau showcases designers with an urban sensibility that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Silk blouses are sexy and refined; easy, solid-color dresses have an emphasis on innovative cuts and necklines. To complete a très chic Parisian ensemble, sort through the slouchy leather bags and shiny clutches that coordinate with any number of shoes. Deleau complements the rustic studio setting with seductive paintings and action figures of the sixties comic-book heroine Mademoiselle Marie.
