Profile
This sleek, warmly lit shop fits in well with its Nolita brethren. Jewelry by L.A.’s Annie Costello Brown and Brooklyn’s Fortune Favors the Brave, among others, is trendy and well-priced while Japanese bath linens balance well with adorable children’s clothing and clever toys. Don’t let the selection for children mislead, however; the Thomas Sires womenwear collection designed by owners Fiona Thomas and Allison Sires is a standout. Nearly all the pieces, including the silk jumpsuits, soft denim skirts, blouses, tailored dresses and French terry tops are made in New York’s Garment District; the exceptions are the alpaca-wool blend sweaters, which are knit in Peru and so plush that it's easy to decide they're worth the carbon footprint.
