Veteran says VA denied fertility treatment due to same-sex marital status

Ashely Sheffield, a decorated air-force veteran, is claiming that the Department of Veteran Affairs denied her fertility treatment due to her same-sex marital status. Sheffield was sent a letter of denial from her local VA program. NBC News' Valerie Castro has more.
