Monster waves on West Coast causing flooding, evacuations and ocean rescues

The West Coast was hit with monster waves, sparking widespread flooding, evacuations and harrowing ocean rescues. The waves are part of a storm system stirring up surf from Southern California all the way up to Washington. NBC News’ Steve Patterson has the latest.
