The Moscow-Washington ‘Red Phone’

New tensions between the United States and Russia has resurfaced an old myth about the Cold War foes' emergency communications link, known as the "Red Phone." It was the communication President Obama reportedly used to reach out to Russian President Vladmir Putin to discourage him from using hackers to disrupt the U.S. elections.
