In the hours following a controversial tweet President Trump wrote criticizing Sen. Gillibrand, numerous senators and lawmakers called out his actions. In a press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders reacted to the allegations Trump’s remarks were sexist, dismissing the backlash.
