‘Friday Night Lights’ author Buzz Bissinger looks back 25 years later

Before “Friday Night Lights” became a critically acclaimed film and TV series, it was a 1990 book about the fanatical devotion to high school football in a Texas town. To mark the book’s 25th anniversary, author Buzz Bissinger revisited six of the former football players he profiled and found that high school is the “worst barometer” of success later in life.
