Hot Car Deaths Up As Extreme Heat Sweeps Country

On Friday night, a seven-month-old died in a hot car after police say his father forgot him inside. Nationwide, hot car deaths are up and there’s a push for new legislation in Congress that would require all passenger motor vehicles to be equipped with a child safety alert system.
