Adnan Syed granted retrial: ‘Serial’ podcast played big role

Adnan Syed, whose murder conviction was called into question by the popular podcast "Serial," can get another shot to prove his innocence, a Maryland appeals court ruled Thursday. His lawyers spoke to reporters and expressed their excitement over the decision, as well as the large role the popular podcast played in the development.
