CIA Director nominee Haspel: ‘I don’t believe that torture works’

Gina Haspel, nominee for CIA Director, tells Sen. Kamala Harris she does not believe torture works, and adds, “We got valuable information from debriefing of Al Qaeda detainees, and I don't think it's knowable whether interrogation techniques played a role in that.”
