White House declines to apologize for aide’s reported McCain comment

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders faced multiple questions related to an aide’s reported mocking of “dying” Senator McCain. Sanders said, “I’m not going to validate a leak… out of an internal staff meeting,” and when asked about a tone set at the White House, added, “We have a respect for all Americans.”
