A Postcard from the Field: The Roosters of Kauai

On the peaceful island of Kauai, people are surrounded by the sounds of ocean waves, crickets and island music. But most visitors are surprised to find they can’t get away from the constant crowing of the island’s thousands of roosters. Local islander Luis Soltren explains where exactly all the roosters came from.
