Political twins, opposing sides: 'I couldn't find many other black Republicans
Monica Sparks and Jessica Ann Tyson are twin sisters. They are also running for county commissioner in different districts in Michigan. One big difference between them: their party affiliation. Sparks, a Democrat, and Tyson, a Republican, disagree on many political issues, including President Trump. Yet they continue to find common ground as family. They talk to NBC News’ Morgan Radford about Trumps job performance, how minorities can find representation on both sides of the aisle, and putting their differences aside.
