Supreme Court takes up closely-watched double jeopardy case

The Supreme Court took up an Alabama case about double jeopardy — the Constitutional prohibition against putting someone on trial more than once for the same crime. Paul Manafort’s name wasn’t mentioned, but if the rule is upheld, it would mean he could still face state charges even if he were granted a presidential pardon on federal charges.
