Nest camera hacker threatens to kidnap baby, scares parents

Ellen Rigney was in bed with her husband when she suddenly heard a man’s voice coming from the Nest camera connected to her son’s room. Nest is blaming the hack on the users’ poor password security and is alerting affected customers to reset their passwords and set up two-factor authentication.
