Partisan blame game in Congress with shutdown expected to last for days

Negotiations on a funding deal continue behind closed doors as Democrats and Republicans point fingers at who is to blame for the partial government shutdown. Almost all lawmakers have headed home and will be given 24 hours’ notice before any vote to end the stalemate.
