University of Maryland on edge after adenovirus kills one, sickens dozens

Freshman Olivia Paregol developed fatal complications related to adenovirus and 40 others were sickened, while a separate outbreak killed 11 children at a New Jersey pediatric center. The virus is common and can cause a range of conditions, but can be dangerous for those with weak immune systems.
