Ukraine whistleblower could testify before Congress behind closed doors

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said he hopes that the whistleblower will testify behind closed doors “very soon,” though one hurdle is getting security clearance for the whistleblower’s attorneys to join them. The White House defended President Trump’s Ukraine call on Sunday, calling it an appropriate request to root out corruption.
