Some Oscars viewers complain about Hulu issues while trying to livestream

Some Oscars viewers who opted to livestream the awards show tonight expressed frustration over what they described as a glitch when they tried to log in to the Hulu app.

"Thank you for reaching out!" a message from the Disney Plus Help account said in response to ane X user. "The 97th Oscars will be broadcast live on ABC-TV and are streaming on Hulu starting at 7 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT. If you are having trouble accessing it, try restarting your app or checking for updates. Let us know if you need further assistance!"

The word “Hulu” trended on X.

A representative for Disney told NBC News in a statement: We have identified the issue and impacted users should be able to log back in soon. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

'Conclave' screenwriter wears pro-Ukraine pin
