Tropical Storm Fred is headed toward the Florida coast.

Fred, the sixth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season, is traveling northwest through the Caribbean. The storm, which has maximum winds of 45 miles per hour as of Wednesday morning, is forecast to arrive along Florida’s Gulf Coast late Saturday or early Sunday.
