27 Israeli air force pilots sent a letter to their chief refusing to take part in strikes in Palestinian population centers. They called killing civilians “illegal and immoral.” NBC’s Martin Fletcher reports.
It has been an especially violent week in the deteriorating situation between the Israelis and Palestinians. On Thursday, Israel admitted it did not realize there was a crowd of Palestinian civilians nearby when it unleashed a missile attack on a car on Monday. Some members of the Israeli military say they’re caught in the middle, and they don’t like it. NBC’s Martin Fletcher reports.
