Former NFL star Lawrence Taylor was arrested Friday evening under suspicion of driving under the influence after the car he was driving sideswiped a police car and struck a motor home, according to NBC affiliate WPTV.

The retired New York Giants linebacker was driving in Palm Beach Gardens, about an hour from Miami, at 5:20 p.m. when his Bentley hit the motor home and swiped a side mirror on the police car while switching lanes, WPTV reported.
Taylor, 57, was taken to Palm Beach County Jail, WPTV reported.
No injuries were reported.
The two-time Super Bowl champion played with the Giants from 1981 to 1993. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Taylor has had a string of legal trouble since retiring from the NFL, including an arrest for having sex with a minor and twice getting busted for leaving the scene of an accident, once in 1996 and again in 2009 in Florida.
