More than a dozen people, including three firefighters, were injured Saturday when a passenger train collided with a fire rescue truck in Delray Beach, Florida, officials said.
The collision occurred at around 10:45 a.m. near East Atlantic and Railroad avenues in Delray Beach.
Three firefighters were injured and reported stable in a hospital, Delray Beach Fire Rescue said in a statement on Facebook.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue transported 12 people from the train to the hospital with minor injuries.
Images on social media showed a mangled fire truck lying next to the train tracks. The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and the road where the crash occurred is closed.
Brightline, which operates the train, said on X that it was experiencing delays.
