New York City authorities are searching for the person who set a man on fire in Times Square on Sunday morning.

Police responded to a 45-year-old man on fire on West 41st Street and Seventh Avenue just before 4 a.m., police said in a statement, NBC New York reported.

No one has been arrested. Police do not believe it was a random attack. They also said no homeless people were involved.

The victim was listed as stable at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell hospital.

Police said the investigation continues.

In December, a man was accused of killing a woman by setting her on fire in a New York City subway.
