Tropical Storm Elsa, the first storm to reach hurricane strength of the 2021 Atlantic season, is tracing a path up inland of and along the East Coast.
As of Wednesday, Elsa has made landfall on north Florida's western coast bringing with it sustained wind speeds of close to 65 mph. Its current maximum sustained wind speeds are closer to 40 mph as it travels through South and North Carolina.
